• Starry Nights at the Plaza: Taylorsville City's free summer concert series that's happening every Friday night at Centennial Plaza. 5pm.

• Solitude Open: top disc golfers from Utah and beyond. Competitors play 3 rounds across three days on this epic and scenic course. There will be sponsor booths and additional games on the lawn for spectators to enjoy. All weekend.

• Butlerville Days: in Cottonwood Heights. Runs all weekend with many events.

• Wasatch Demolition Derby: in Heber. 7pm. $35.

• Campfire Cookout: at Brighton’s Milly Chalet. 7pm. $95.

• Friday Night Comedy: at WhyKiKi. 7pm. $15

• Harry Potter Trivia: at the Local. 7pm.

• Movie in the Park: at Flatiron Mesa Park in Sandy. This week is Shrek. 7:30pm.
