Thursday, October 26th

  • Boolights at Hogle Zoo: BooLights is your family’s destination for animal-themed lights, entertainment, and programs. When the animals go to bed, they come alive in thousands of lights after dark. Fun for all ages. Final weekend. Tickets are $18.

  • Sweeney Todd: Stephen Sondheim’s beloved dark classic is a thrilling musical that tells the tale of Sweeney Todd, a vengeful barber who returns to London after being wrongfully imprisoned for years. The Grand Theater at Grand Theatre at SLCC. Runs through October 28th. 7:30pm. Tickets are $30.

  • Dinos in the Dark: spooky-themed 8.5-acre outdoor sculpture park and indoor museums. At George S. Eccles Dinosaur Park in Ogden. Tickets are $10.

  • Millcreek’s Food Truck Thursdays: winding down for the season with just a few weeks left. At Millcreek Commons from 5pm - 8pm.

  • Halloween Lift Rides: Just like the Full Moon Lift Ride, but a little spookier at Sundance Mountain Resort. 7pm -10pm. Cost is $30.

  • Sleepy Hollow the Musical: runs through October 30th. West Valley Performing Arts Center. Tickets are $25.

  • The Emo Night Tour: At Metro Music Hall. 8pm. Tickets are $60.

  • The Addams Family: A New Musical Comedy: Timpanogos Community Theater. Tickets are $15.Friday, October 27th

Friday, October 27th

  • Halloween On The High Seas: Pirates and Scallywags starts and runs through October 30th. Halloween costumes are highly encouraged. Loveland Living Planet Aquarium, Sandy. 12pm - 6pm.

  • Sandy Trunk or Treat: Live DJ, car show, face paintings and more at the Sandy Promenade. 5:30pm - 7:30pm.

  • Open Streets SLC: Every Friday and Saturday this fall, downtown SLC’s Main Street will undergo a delightful transformation into a pedestrian promenade with music and art. 12pm onward. Free.

  • Frightmares at Lagoon: With over nine haunted attractions, Halloween-themed entertainment and all of your favorite foods, rides and games, Frightmares is Utah’s number one destination for family friendly Halloween fun. Runs until October 29th. Tickets are $95.

  • Young Frankenstein: From the creators of the record-breaking Broadway sensation, The Producers, comes this monster new musical comedy. Mel Brooks, adapts his legendarily funny film into a brilliant stage creation – Young Frankenstein! Runs through October. Ziegfeld in Ogden. Tickets are $26.

  • Cottonwood Heights Monster Mash: Enjoy carnival games, ice skating, and much more. At the Cottonwood Heights Recreation Center from 5pm-7pm.

  • Spooky Wagon Rides: Ride with the Headless Horseman. 7:30pm and 8pm. At Wheeler Farm, Murray. Tickets are only $5.

  • The Rocky Horror Show: runs October 20th-31st. Pioneer Theatre Company. University of Utah, Salt Lake. Tickets are $55.

  • Cornbelly’s Insanity Point Haunt: Top Ten Corn Maze Award Winner. Runs October 21-29th. Thanksgiving Point, Lehi. Entrance is $35.

  • Pumpkin Train Halloween Songs, Entertainment & Family Fun! Heber Valley Railroad. Tickets are $25.

  • Utah Jazz vs LA Clippers: Delta Center. Starts at 7:30pm. Tickets start at $17.

  • Get Freaky Festival: Three nights of music, costumes and dancing! At the Utah State Fairpark all weekend.

Saturday, October 28th

  • Four Legged Friend Halloween Costume Party: At Second Summit Cider Co. 11:30am.

  • Utah Utes vs Oregon Ducks: starts at 1:30pm at Rice Eccles Stadium.

  • Howloween Party: Dog Halloween Party with so many cute activities planned! at Sydnee's Pet Grooming from 2pm - 5pm.

  • Pumpkin Days: Enjoy a family friendly Halloween with a play zone, hay maze, cow train, corn pit, & wagon rides. 9 AM - 9 PM. Tickets prices range from $3-$12 based on age.

  • North Salt Lake Halloween: Halloween Spooktacular at Hatch Park! Bring your family and join the fun - take a stroll around the park and enjoy a fall morning of laughter, camaraderie and fun. 9am - 11am at Hatch Park. Free.

  • International Fest: Ethnically-diverse foods, goods, and services by local and international artisans. At the Utah State Fairpark from 12pm - 7pm.

  • Photos with Beetlejuice: at the Valley Fair Mall. Every Saturday & Sunday in October from 2pm - 6pm.

  • Myths and Legends of the Great Salt Lake: Myths and Legends of the Great Salt Lake. Join a park ranger for an evening stroll across the expanse of Silver Sands Beach. Starts at 6:10pm.

  • Carve Night: unleash your creativity and carve the ultimate pumpkin masterpiece without worrying about the mess or tools. Schmidt’s Farm and Greenhouse 6:30 PM to 9 PM. Tickets are $15.

  • Bates Haunt Halloween Show: The award winning, longest running outdoor projection show in the world! Taylorsville. Show runs each night except Sundays from 7:30pm - 10pm. Free.

  • Utah Grizzlies Ice Hockey: Games starts at 7:10pm at the Maverik Center. Tickets are $17.

  • Monster Bash: A Ghoulishly good time as we transform the Hog into a haunted haven for a night of Halloween festivities like no other. Get your costumes ready, because it's going to be a scream! at the Hog Wallow. 9:30pm.

Sunday, October 29th

  • Sunday Brunch: Sleepy Hollow: at Brewvies Cinema Pub. 12pm. Admission is free.

  • Forest Bathing: Chris Newton is a certified forest bathing guide through the Association of Nature and Forest Therapy Guides and Programs at red Butte Garden. 10:30am - 12pm. Tickets are $30.

  • West Valley Día de los Muertos: The event features traditional Mexican dance & musical performances, traditional food, a beer garden, and a variety of complimentary hands-on activities for the whole family. Tickets are $10.

  • Sunday Night Comedy Show: ​​Sunday nights the Crowdsourced cast does comedy based off your suggestions. 'Who's line is it anyway?' style! Location: Why Kiki at 7 PM.
