Thursday, Sept 14th

  • Live Band Karaoke: Be the lead singer of your own band at Live Band Karaoke. Club 90 in Sandy. 8pm - 11pm. $5 cover charge.

  • An Evening with Leo Kottke: Widely recognized as a master of acoustic guitar, Kottke is known for his innovative fingerpicking style on six- and 12-string guitars, drawing influences from blues, jazz, and folk music. Plays all weekend at the Egyptian Theater Park City at 8pm. Tickets start at $33.

  • Fear Factory: Salt Lake opens for the season. Fear Factory is one of the top Halloween attractions in the world, made up of 6 buildings, up to 6 stories high, with 2 underground passages, and is a massive haunted attraction. Opens at 8:45pm. General admission is $30.

  • Soulfang: Hog Wallow Pub: a band that blends slow dancing with headbanging, jazz clubs with mosh pits, and tenderness and beauty with shredding. After a year of writing, rehearsing, and performing together, SoulFang is ready to share its unique and compelling brand of "sex metal" with the broader world. Starts at 9pm. Entry is $7.

Friday, Sept 15th

  • Hispanic Heritage Month Kick-Off Party: Celebrate and honor the Hispanic culture with WOSB Collective store. They are throwing a fun block party filled with folkloric performances, art, music and more! At The Gateway. 6pm - 9pm. Free.

  • The Pickpockets: are making their debut on the Second Summit Cider patio. Bring your dancing shoes and get ready for a night full of fun. $10 cover for the patio. 7pm - 10pm. Free Pickleball open play included.

  • Tony Holiday: Welcome Tony back to SLC with the Utah Blues Society! At the State Room. Starts at 8pm. Tickets are $21.

  • Neon Rodeo: Neon Rodeo Creative Conference returns this September 15-17 to round up the best of the West while transfusing rhythm, culture, and raw creativity from select cities around the globe. Events all over Salt Lake all weekend. Tickets are $30.

Saturday, Sept 16th

  • Pollinator Garden Volunteer Cleanup: Help bees, butterflies, and other pollinators by assisting with our demonstration garden cleanup! Volunteers will help with weeding and pruning the pollinator garden in front of the EcoCenter to maintain it for the growing season. Swaner Eco Center. 9am - 10am.

  • BIPOC/Women Owned Pop Up Market: Come support our lineup of talented, local, BIPOC and women owned small businesses. We’ll have door prizes, tooth gems, face painting, handmade items, jewelry, art, free kids activities and more! 10am - 2pm. Publik Coffee. Free.

  • Festa Italiana: Salt Lake City’s famous Italian Festival returns for its 8th year! At the Gateway. Saturday 12pm-10pm, and Sunday 12pm-7pm. Free.

  • 9&9th Street Festival: The 9th and 9th Street Festival is our neighborhood celebrating our neighborhood. Held annually on the 2nd Saturday after Labor Day − this will be our 30th year! The Festival is free, fun, kid friendly, pet friendly, music friendly, food friendly, art friendly, and best of all, neighbor friendly! Learn about new things, shop the street, enjoy a tasty treat, and listen to some great music. 10am - 6pm. Held at Liberty Park this year due to construction. Free.

  • Day Haunt at the Nightmare on 13th: Step into a world of enchanting Halloween wonder at Nightmare on 13th's Day Haunt, where "No Scares, All Atmosphere" reigns supreme. Delighting families and kids of all ages, this unique experience invites you to explore our haunted house without the worry of fright. Immerse yourself in the captivating ambiance, as you witness the intricate details and spine-tingling decor that make Nightmare on 13th an iconic haunt. 1pm-3pm. Tickets are $23.

  • Oktoberfest at Bewilder Brewing: Last year we brewed a bunch of German beer, rolled out a full German food menu, extended our patio, and had a lot of fun during another very strange year. We plan on doing all that again. Starts at 1pm. Free.

  • Fresh Flower Arrangement Workshop: Spend an afternoon at Red Butte Garden alongside floral designer, Alyssa Palmer, creating your own seasonal arrangement with fragrant fresh flowers! 1pm - 3pm. Registration required. $100 including $50 materials fee.

  • Rock n Ribs: Join us for a day of fun with Utah’s best BBQ Vendors, Kids fun area + Utah’s best local bands. Sample the best BBQ around with the $3.00 sample plate. Starts at 3pm at the Gallivan Center.

  • The Pour: Salt Lake City-based band The Pour offers their unique recipe of Funk, Soul, and Psychedelic Rock n’ Roll with influences ranging from Jimi Hendrix to Pink Floyd and Miles Davis to Radiohead. Hog Wallow Pub. 9:30pm. Entry is $10.

  • Full Set Fest: is a Salt Lake City based queer arts festival brought to you by JRC Events and Sequoia. Full set 2023 presents: The Crown Jewels - We're bringing together a 'full set' of some of the finest drag artists and queer performers from Utah, hosted by local drag favorites. At the Urban Lounge. 10pm. Tickets are $20.

Sunday, Sept 17th

  • The Wasatch Front Jugglers: meet most Sundays at Trolley between 2:30-7pm (generally starts near 3p) to juggle and hang out. Look for them in the South Atrium 1st Floor. Open to the public, come to practice, learn or just to watch!

  • Swaner Craft: Bring your nature loving kids to Swaner's Sunday craft! We offer an upcycled nature-themed craft every Sunday. Stop by the EcoCenter anytime between 11am - 1pm to participate in this free activity. All ages are welcome! Free.

  • Sunday Live Music Series: This week is The Howlin’ Tomcats. Village Green at Solitude Resort. 5pm - 7pm. Free.

  • Monster Truck Family Tour: 5pm at the Days of 47 Arena. Tickets are $36.

  • The Lumineers: Rescheduled from a previous weather delay. Starts at 7:30pm. USANA Amphitheatre, West Valley City. Tickets start at $50.
