Thursday, September 7
Utah State Fair: Thursday marks opening day of the Utah State Fair which runs until September 17th. Utah State Fairgrounds. Entry is $12.
Timpanogos Storytelling Festival: Starts on Thursday and goes through Saturday. September. Held at Ashton Gardens in Lehi. Tickets start at $10.
Acoustic Showcase: IAMA Acoustic Music Concert. All ages/no cover/great ribs. Patâs BBQ, Salt Lake. 6:30pm - 8:30 pm. Free.
Comedy Murder Mystery Train: Join for a Comedy Murder Mystery train ride 2023: Murder at the Heber Creeper! It runs Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. Ticket includes a two-hour ride and an entertaining "who-done-it." Heber Valley Railroad. Trains depart at 7pm sharp. Tickets are $25.
The Offspring: starts at 7:30pm. USANA Amphitheater, West Valley City. Tickets start at $55.
Park City Song Summit: A multi-day music and wellness event featuring intimate conversations and musical performances. Canyons Village Amphitheater. Runs until Saturday. Tickets start at $165.
The Polish Ambassador: Soundwell, Salt Lake City, UT. Starts at 8:45pm. Tickets are $36.
Friday, September 8
Solitude Bike Park Grand Opening: This marks the opening of phase 1 of the Solitude Bike Park, a multiphase build that will continue this fall and over the next couple of summers. They will be serving free donuts while a DJ cranks out the tunes and keeps the party rolling. 10am - 6pm.
Nine - The Musical: Nine centers around a famous Italian film director and ladies man, based on Federico Fellini's semi-autobiographical 1963 film 8œ. The musical won multiple Tony awards and was made into a hit film. At the Egyptian Theater in Park City. Plays all weekend. Tickets start at $35.
Frightmares starts at Lagoon: With over nine haunted attractions, Halloween-themed entertainment and all of your favorite foods, rides and games, Frightmares is Utahâs number one destination for family friendly Halloween fun. Runs until October 29th. Tickets are $95.
Native Seed Collecting: Join Red Butte Gardenâs botanist, Neal Dombrowski for a two part class to learn about seed collection. Youâll learn when to harvest, how to handle seeds after collection, and how to plant them for best results. Red Butte Garden. 5:30pm - 7:30pm. Class registration is $55.
Zoo Rendezvous Fundraiser: Enjoy the wildest party in town with up-close animal experiences, VIP tours, live music and dancing, entertainment, silent auction, and a wide variety of drinks and food. Proceeds from the event go toward benefitting wildlife. 6pm - 10pm. Tickets are $125.
Utah Olympic Legacy Foundation Anti Gala: Join for an evening of activities, delicious food & drinks, and live music. Unlimited extreme tubing, zip line & alpine slide, food trucks, local winery & distilleries, live music, silent & live auction with one-of-a-kind experience packages. 6pm - 10pm. Tickets are $250.
Salt Lake Bees vs. Tacoma Rainiers: Fireworks show after the game! Also, In game promotions include swag tosses and chances to win free ice cream from Farr's! And kids run the bases at Smith's Ballpark following the game on Friday and Saturday nights all summer long! Game starts at 6:35pm. Tickets start at $14.
Emo Night: A late night DJ Based dance party blasting all your favorite emo and punk pop jams. The Depot. Starts at 8pm. Tickets are $36.
Saturday, September 9th
Wï»żitchy Yoga Girl Hike: Monthly hiking group to bring together people in the community, get out in nature to re-center and get moving! Meet at Witchy Yoga Girl (located at 7986 S. 1300 E) in Sandy at 8:30am and then head out to a new hike as a group. Free.
Plant Swap and Sale: You donât have to bring plants/goods if you donât have anything you want to swap or sell! You can come hangout and check out everyone elseâs plants! At Second Summit Hard Cider Co in SLC from 10am - 1pm.
Reptilian Nation Expo: Come find a new pet, learn about new species and view some cool educational presentations all about 1000s of reptiles, amphibians, arachnids, and more. Friday and Saturday at the Salt Lake City Convention Center. Admission is $20.
Oddities & Curiosities Expo: The Oddities & Curiosities Expo showcases hand selected vendors, dealers, artists and small businesses with all things weird. You'll find items such as: taxidermy, preserved specimens, original artwork, horror/halloween inspired pieces, antiques, handcrafted oddities, collectibles & much more. Mountain America Exposition Center in Sandy. Tickets are $10.
Dippin' Dogs - End of Season Dog Party: Bring your pooch to play in a dog-only pool. 9am - 12pm. First Dog $15, Additional dogs are $3.
Downtown Farmerâs Market: Farmers and producers offer the freshest local fruits and vegetables as well as a wide variety of grass-fed meats, eggs, dairy, honey, and flora, along with the region's best locally made sauces, spreads, baked goods and culinary accoutrements. Pioneer Park. 10am - 2pm.
Hispanic Heritage Parade and Street Festival: This event celebrates National Hispanic Heritage Month. There will be food vendors (Colombian, Mexican, Venezuelan, Peruvian, Bolivian and more!) adult beverages, local artisans, dance performances, live music, and other family friendly entertainment. Hosted at The Gateway. 11am - 7pm. Free.
Fisher Mansion Beer Garden: Come enjoy two afternoons of bike riding down the Jordan River Parkway Trail, frosty beverages from Fisher Brewing, food from local food trucks, yard games, and live music! Join the Fisher Mansion Beer Garden Event, hosted by Salt Lake City Public Lands and Fisher Brewery, on Saturday and Sunday from 12pm to 8pm. Held at Fisher Mansion. Admission is free.
Roller Derby Double-Header: Blondes vs. Bombshells: The Derby Depot will be ground zero, with a double feature of action-packed derby bouts! First game starts at 6pm and the second following at 7:30pm. Tickets are $10 in advance, $15 at the door. Kids 8 and under free.
Olive & the Alleycats and Union Blues: Sexy, sultry blues! BB King, Eric Clapton, Trampled Underfoot, Jill Jack, EG Kight, Black Crow, Tab Benoit, Koko Taylor, Samantha Fish, Elvin Bishop, Pam Taylor Betty Everett and more. Haglund Ranch. 6:30pm. $15 donation is suggested.
Sunday, September 10th
Autumn Avian Adventures: Fall migration is in full swing on the Swaner Preserve! Join us for a birding tour to the wetland ponds. Swaner Preserve & EcoCenter. 7am - 10am. Tickets are $10.
Swap Meet: at the Redwood Drive In: Vendors gather to showcase an array of goods, from vintage treasures to handmade crafts. 7am - 4pm.
Outdoor Urban Flea Market: Come browse 80+ Vendors Offering Eclectic and Unique Vintage. The Gateway, Downtown, Salt Lake. 10 amâ4 pm. Free.
Salt Lake Bees vs. Tacoma Rainiers: Join for a Brunch, every Sunday game for the 2023 Bees Season. Brunch begins at 12:05PM and Ends at 2:05PM. First pitch is at 1:05PM. A private bar is located on the Party Patio where the buffet is served. Brunch tickets are $34.
Coffee and Games: Hosted every Sunday. Open to all kinds of games! Board games, card games, dice games, Magic, Pokémon, you name it! Also enjoy half off drip coffee. Game Haven, Sandy. 1pm - 5pm. Free.
