Our goal is simple: to be your go-to source for all the exciting events, activities, and opportunities that Salt Lake City and the surrounding areas have to offer, every weekend. Whether you're a recent transplant or a seasoned local, we're here to curate a diverse array of happenings, from cultural festivals to outdoor adventures, and more! Thursday, August 17th:
Twilight Ride Series Send Off at Deer Valley: The final Twilight Ride series of the year. Riders are invited to participate in a jump contest off Rooster’s Booster, the bottom jump of Tidal Wave. The jump competition will occur during the final hour of operation, which will mean the last jump will be closed to the public during that time. 4pm-8pm.
Trivia Night with Game Night Live at Second Summit Hard Cider: 7pm. Free to play.
Grand Theater presents: [title of show]. One-act musical comedy exploring the journey of creating a theater festival performance. Runs August 17 – September 9, 2023. 7:30pm. Tickets $17.
Mojito Mania: Muddle, Mix, and Minty Bliss: Mixology class crafting the perfect mojito. 8pm. Free, BYOB.
Friday, August 18th:
Drinks with Strangers at HandleBar SLC: Mix n' mingle event for singles 21+. 6:30pm. Free.
Salt Lake Bees vs. Oklahoma City Dodgers: 6:30pm. Tickets start at $11.
All Women Comedy Show at Why Kiki: All female improvisers and stand-ups make up the cast. 7:30pm. Tickets $15.
Movies in the Park: Top Gun : No chairs allowed on the field so please bring blankets and pillows for a comfy viewing experience. America First Field. 7:30pm. Free.
Chris Kattan at Wise Guys Comedy Club: Best known as one of the longest serving cast members on Saturday Night Live. 7pm or 9:30pm. Tickets are $35.
Tarotville is a new pop-up experience from SB Dance’s Curbside Theater. Dance, theater, live song, card reading experience. Hosted at Woodbine’s food hall and cocktail bar. 8:30pm. Free (donations appreciated).
Saturday, August 19th:
Free outdoor Yoga at Solitude: Apex Lawn. 9am-10am
Yoga at Liberty Park by YogaSix: 9am. Free for members and donation based for non-members.
Millcreek Arts Fest: Over 70 local booth artists, 11 musical acts on 2 stages, and more. Historic Baldwin Radio Factory. 11AM-10PM. Free.
Salt Lake City Events and RoHa Brewing Project present Kensington Street Festival: live music, local artist booths, food trucks, activities, and of course… great beer! 2pm-8pm All ages welcome and admission is free!
Queer Pop Up Market: Local queer vendors and performers will gather together in our shop and on the patio for some summer fun. Under the Umbrella Bookstore, 12pm-4pm.
Oktoberfest - Snowbird: Oktoberfest at Snowbird is a family-friendly affair with activities, food, and, of course, brews for days — weeks actually. 12PM-6pm Saturdays and Sundays. $12 per car.
Peter Frampton - Sandy Amphitheater: 6:30PM. Tickets start at $80.
Sam Smith - Vivint Arena: 8PM, Tickets start at $41.
Paint Night at the Hogle Zoo: Come paint with us as we learn about and explore the king of the savannah - the lion. No experience is necessary to join the class, as our experienced artist will guide you step-by-step through each painting. 6pm-8:30pm. Tickets are $45.
Coca Cola Sunset Cinema at Solitude: “Lyle, Lyle, Crocodile”. Moonbeam Lawn. 8pm. Free!
Sunday, August 20th:
Utah Beer Festival - The 13th Annual Utah Beer Festival features over 200 beers and ciders to sample over this 2-day weekend event! There will be over 50 local, regional and international varieties available, including dozens of high-point ABV options. Beers are poured into 5 oz sample mugs and 12 oz cups. At Granary Live. 2pm-8pm. Tickets start at $30.
Closing weekend of SLAC's Summer Show: A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood. Be swept up in the childhood nostalgia of the beloved public television programs that educated generations through song and, of course, puppets. Tickets $50.
$10 Court reservations all day at Second Summit Cider Co: we checked this place out last weekend & it has it all - cider, beer, non-alcoholic drinks, sandwiches, cornhole, trivia, bingo, board games, and, of course, pickleball.
Sunday Live Music Series - Solitude: 5pm. Free.
Comedy Church presents: Church Camp: Each Comedy Church show features new comedians as well as religious topics. Blue Gene’s Bar. 7:30pm. Tickets $10.
