Thursday, April 18th:

Friday, April 19th:

  • Thanksgiving Point Tulip Festival: live music, food trucks, vendors, and activities for the whole family. Runs all of April and May. Tickets are $24.

  • Fun Science Friday, Shake It Out: at Clark Planetarium. Explore the science behind earthquakes, plate tectonics, mountain formation, and what makes Earth such a geologically dynamic planet. 2:30pm.

  • Baggers Brawl Cornament Series: Cornhole tournament all weekend. Weber County Fairgrounds. 

  • Pollinator Palooza: Learn about the incredible world of pollinators at Millcreek Common’s Pollinator Palooza. Enjoy a live butterfly experience, exhibits, pollinator artisan market with native plants, local honey and more. 11am - 9pm. 

  • Simply Sushi Class: Fish and rice make everything nice. Roll into SLICE and learn from one of our instructors how to make shrimp tempura, a traditional roll, and a hand roll of your choice. Starts at 6pm. Class is $115 per ticket.

Saturday, April 20th:

  • Salt Lake City Marathon: Starts at 7am. Cheer on runners or celebrate with friends and family in the heart of downtown SLC.
    Party for the Planet: at Hogle Zoo. Celebrate Earth Day at the zoo at our annual Party for the Planet daytime event. Participate in family-friendly education, games, recycling projects, and crafts with local organizations dedicated to taking action for conservation and the natural world. 10am-3pm.

  • Lamb and Wool Festival: Come watch the fascinating shearing process as we remove the heavy winter coats from our sheep and llamas. Visit with the Wasatch Woolpack Handspinners to see how they turn raw wool into yarn and cool finished goods. Thanksgiving Point. 10am-4pm.

  • Snowbasin Pond Skim: ​​Guests are encouraged to dress in their wildest costumes and attempt the ride of their life at the resort’s 10th Annual Pond Skim. 10am-2pm.

  • Plant Swap and Pop Up Shop: At Scion Cider. They will have a table of starter propagations to swap and you’re welcome to add to it with your own contributions of clippings, and take what looks cool to you. 12pm-4pm.

  • RoHa Brewing 7th Anniversary Party: Special beer releases and live music. 2pm. 

  • Retro Rollin 1950s: at Millcreek Common. 4pm.

  • Bingo: at the Thirsty Squirrel at Solitude. Après at The Thirsty Squirrel will have you shouting BINGO It’s free to play. 3:30pm

Sunday, April 21st:

  • SpringFest: an Earth Day Celebration Utah Cultural Celebration Center. 5pm-8pm.

  • Spring Bonsai Show: at Red Butte Garden. Discover Bonsai, the Japanese art of growing miniature trees in containers. Members of The Bonsai Club of Utah will exhibit different bonsai styles and arrangements. 9am-7:30pm.

  • Bill Maher: at the Eccles Theater. 7:30pm. Tickets are $80.

  • Comedy Concert: Lance Amillion presents a live stand-up comedy show. Starts at 9:30pm. Tickets available at the door for $25.

  • Adult Trivia: every Sunday night at the Green Pig Pub. 7pm-9:30pm.
