What’s going on this weekend:

Thursday, February 8th:

• Utah Utes vs. Arizona Wildcats: Basketball game at home. Starts at 6pm. Tickets are $20.

• Wine Night: at Tea Zaanti. At each Special Order Wine Night two different wines are uncorked to sample and provide a little inside knowledge. 7pm-9pm. Tickets are $15.

• Rumble in the Rockies: Axe throwing competition at Social Axe SLC. Runs all weekend with a $10 buy in for each event.

• Sound Healing and Journaling: These meditations are designed to reduce stress, promote relaxation and rejuvenation throughout the mind, body, and spirit. Space is limited to 7 participants only in these sound bath events in the selenite room. Thursdays at 7:30pm at  Synchronicities. Tickets are $33.

• Thursday Tunes: Live jazz or blues at Prohibition from 8pm-10pm. Free.

• Karaoke: at the Green Pig Pub. Starts at 9pm.

Friday, February 9th:

• PBR Unleash the Beast: The top bull riders take on the best bucking bulls, aiming for a shot at Championship Gold. Runs all day Friday and Saturday. Tickets start at $25. 

• Aeris Aerial Arts: An aerial showcase from students at Aeris Aerial Arts. At Kingsbury Hall at 7pm on Friday and Saturday. Tickets are $60.

• Utah Grizzlies vs. Idaho Steelheads: Hockey at the Maverik Center. Starts at 7:10pm. Tickets start at $19.

• Sweetheart Carriage Rides: Cuddle up with your sweetheart on a love song, serenaded horse-drawn carriage ride around historic Gardner Village. $60 per couple and runs through Feb 14th.

• Annual Red & Black Valentine's Salsa Bachata Ball: at Havana on State. Bachata classes, performances, DJ, Food Truck and more. $15 entry.

• This is Love Variety Show: at Prohibition. Shows start at 7:30pm, 9:30pm and 11:15pm. $10 Admission at the door.

Saturday, February 10th:

• Chocolate Lovers Festival: at Solitude. Start your day by grabbing a passport at Chocolate Village outside of Moonbeam Lodge. Visit all of the chocolate stations around the mountain to sample complimentary goodies. 

• Women in Nature and Science: We will bring together community partners, exceptional guest speakers, and a wide array of scientists who all share a common goal: to inspire women and girls to pursue fulfilling careers in STEM. 10am-5pm at the Natural History Museum. Event is included with Museum admission.

• Salt Lake City Lunar New Year: Free Family Activities, Music, Salt Lake City Chinatown History Presentation and dumplings! 11am-5:30pm at 2001 S State St.

• Winter Elixir Mixer: a festival celebrating Salt Lake’s cocktail culture and supporting our winter snowpack. At the Gallivan Center from 6pm-11:30pm. Tickets start at $10.

• Salt Lake Winter Roundup: A Salt Lake spectacle of skijoring, bull riding, music, and fun. 1pm-4pm at Abravanel Hall Plaza. Admission is free.

• Anti-Valentines Party: Ditch the roses, chocolates, and candlelit dinner and come drown those love-sick sorrows at the Westerner. Starts at 6pm.

• A Night of Jazz to End Hunger: at the Clubhouse on South Temple. Starts at 7pm. Indulge in the infectious rhythms and improvisations of Hot House West, a dynamic jazz band known for their energetic performances. Admission is free.

• Mardi Gras Murder Mystery at the Museum: Celebrate the arrival of 2024 with an inaugural after-hours party. Dress up, explore behind the scenes, and savor delicious food and drinks. 6pm-10pm. Tickets are $75.

• Sips Under the Sea: at The Living Planet Aquarium. Enjoy a nice evening of drinks, plenty of culinary delights, dancing, and more, with all the beautiful animals as your backdrop. From 7pm-10pm. Tickets are $85.

• Valentine Karaoke Riff-Off: at Second Summit Cider. Spin the wheel with different genres and types of songs. Sing the song and win a prize! 7pm-11pm.

• Magic City Hippies: at the Depot. Show starts at 7pm. Tickets are $40.

Sunday, February 11th:

• Wheeler Sunday Market: Indoor Winter Farmers Market is the perfect place to find everything you need to make your winter months both delicious and memorable. every Sunday from January to March 17th, 2024, 9am to 1pm. Free.

• Winter Urban Flea Market: Join every second Sunday of each month for the Urban Flea Market at The Gateway. 10am-4pm.

• Yoga & Sound Bath: at Red Butte Garden. Bring your yoga mat and join instructor Kristin Vance of Fluid Heart Yoga in the Red Butte Garden Rose House for a flowing vinyasa style yoga class. Runs every Sunday at 10:30am. Tickets are $15.  

• Superbowl on the Big Screen: at Brewvies. See the Kansas City Chiefs vs. San Francisco 49ers on the BIG SCREEN! Game starts at 4:30pm. Seating is first come first served with no reservations required. Free.

• Superbowl Watch Party: at the Green Pig.

• Superbowl Watch Party: at TF brewing.

• Rest and Revive: Come join us at Rest and Revive, a chill and rejuvenating event where you can unwind, recharge, and find your inner Zen! At Tune In Mindfulness from 5pm-7pm. Tickets are $44.

• Drag Bingo: Bingo starts at 3pm at Club Try-Angles bar. Bingo cards are $5 for 7 rounds.

• Adult Trivia: Every Sunday evening at the Green Pig Pug from 7pm-9pm.
