What’s going on this weekend:

Thursday, January 25th:

  • Sundance Film Festival: continues in Park City. Starting at $25 for single event tickets.

  • Birding on Skis: at Alta. Join Tracy Aviary’s expert birders this winter on skis in search of our feathered friends that call Alta home. Held on the second and fourth Thursday of each month. 9am-12pm.

  • Full Moon Dinner: at Snowbird. Join Snowbird in celebrating January's Wolf Moon at The Summit for a dinner featuring handcrafted appetizers, fresh entrées and decadent desserts. 6:30pm-10pm. Tickets are $125.

  • Four Course Demonstration and Beer Pairing Class: the chef and Level Crossing Brewing Company will be pairing these exquisite dishes with carefully selected brews. Starts at 6:30pm and tickets are $85.

  • Trivia at Second Summit Cider Co: Two rounds of trivia each night, starting at 7pm and 8pm which means there are two chances to win! Grab a team and put those brains to work! Free.

  • Sound Healing and Journaling: These meditations are designed to reduce stress, promote relaxation and rejuvenation throughout the mind, body, and spirit. Space is limited to 7 participants only in these sound bath events in the selenite room. Thursdays at 7:30pm at  Synchronicities. Tickets are $33.

  • Paint Nite: The Original Paint and Sip Party: provide are all the painting supplies: a 16”x20” canvas, acrylic paint, brushes, smock, music, and a good time. Tickets are $39.

Friday, January 26th:

  • Utah Grizzlies vs. Rapid City Rush: game starts at 7:10. Tickets are $17. 

  • Friday Night Comedy Shows: at WhyKiKi. 7pm-9pm. Tickets are $15.

  • Akaash Singh: nationally touring stand up comedian, podcaster, and actor at Wiseguys Comedy. Multiple shows Friday and Saturday at 7:30 or 9pm. Tickets start at $25.

  • Goth Night: SLC's biggest goth dance party at INTL Bar. Starts at 9pm. Entry is free.

  • Kaskade: at The Marquis PC. Show starts at 9pm. Tickets are $125.

  • Kings Kiki: is a seated Drag Dinner/cocktail Show! Held the last Friday of each month at Why KiKi. Starts at 9pm. Tickets are $10.

  • The Pranksters: Live music in Cottonwood Heights at The Hog Wallow Pub with The Pranksters (Grateful Dead classics). Show stats at 9:30pm.

Saturday, January 27th:

  • Cats & Cocoa: Bundle up with some complimentary hot cocoa or coffee next to our resident feline friends and learn about saving big cats in the wild. At the Hogle Zoo. Starts at 10am.

  • Winter Farmer’s Market: Winter Market features local produce, meat, eggs, cheese, baked goods, sauces, condiments, chocolate, art and crafts, and much more. At the Gateway. 10am-2pm.

  • Mastering Pour-Over Brewing Coffee Class: at Salt Lake Culinary Education. Starts at 11am. Tickets are $75.

  • $1 clearance sale: at Uptown Cheapskate. Runs all weekend.

  • Utah STEM Expo: Join Clark Planetarium for the Utah STEM Expo at the Mountain America Exposition Center! This free, family-friendly event features STEM demonstrations and projects from students, universities, businesses, and other organizations.

  • Crafty Hearts Market: Discover unique gifts from local artisans and crafters, treat yourself to sweet baked goods and desserts, and enjoy tasty eats from food trucks. At 6046 S. State Street. 10am-3pm.

  • Utah Grizzlies Guns N' Hoses game: Hockey game and each ticket will also get you into charity games during the day. The charity games feature local police and firemen. Starts at 7:10pm. Tickets start at $17.

  • Black Crows Ski Sauvage:  both days this weekend at Solitude. The event includes free Black Crows demos, Ski Sauvage sessions, and après-ski to socialize and learn more about the skis.

  • Winter White Party: at Club 90 in Sandy. Most creative costume wins $100! Starts at 8pm.

Sunday, January 28th

  • Wheeler Sunday Market: Indoor Winter Farmers Market is the perfect place to find everything you need to make your winter months both delicious and memorable. every Sunday from January to March 17th, 2024, 9am to 1pm. Free.

  • Sunday Brunch: Spaceballs: see the Mell Brooks classic parody SPACEBALLS (1987). At Brewvies. Doors open 11:30am and movie starts at Noon. $3 Mimosas. Admission is free, no reservations/tickets are required

  • Sunday Night Comedy Show: Crowdsourced Comedy takes over the Why Kiki stage! Scenes, characters, and jokes are made up on the spot, all based off audience suggestions. 'Who's Line is it Anyway?' style! Show starts at 7pm and Tickets are $5.
