Hey there, Weekenders! Spring is in full bloom & this weekend is Easter! There’s so many fun, eggscellent events this week, so read on and enjoy. 🐣🪴

What’s going on this weekend:

Thursday, March 28th:

  • Art & Soup Charity Expo: 20 restaurants and caterers and 60 of Utah’s best artists who donate 35% of their sales to the CNS Charitable Care Program. At the Mountain America Expo Center. 11am-9pm. Tickets are $30.

  • Dog Bone Hunt: Plastic eggs filled with dog treats are scattered and hidden over a defined area of the park. At Wheeler Historic Farm. 3pm-7pm. 

  • Art of Cheese Making: at Redmond Heritage Farm Store. Learn how to craft four distinct cheeses along with the bonus of learning how to make butter. 6pm. Class is $95.

Friday, March 29th:

  • Jurassic Quest: the largest & most realistic traveling dinosaur experience in North America. At the Mountain America Expo Center. 12pm-7pm. All weekend. Tickets are $22.

  • Inkbar launch party: Pop-up shops from the piercers, permanent jewelry, streetwear vendors, DJ, and drinks. 7pm-10pm.

  • SLC Tattoo Expo: all weekend with over 300 tattoo artists from around the globe at the Salt Palace Convention Centre. Tickets are $25. Starts at 3pm.

  • Houston Rockets at Utah Jazz: at the Delta Center. Starts at 7:30pm.

Saturday, March 30th:

  • Spring Spectacular: at South Jordan Softball Fields. Candy scramble, fun performers, baby animal petting zoo, and other fun activities. Join us on Saturday, March 30th for Spring Spectacular 2024. Starts at 9am.

  • Easter Egg Hunt and Magic Show: Cottonwood Creek invites you to a celebration of Easter and the magical coming of Spring! Please join us for an egg hunt, followed by the magic and balloon artistry of Paul Brewer. Starts at 10am.

  • Easter Egg Hunt & Tiny Tot Fair: at Central Park Community Center SLC. The family-fun event includes Tiny Tots Early Learning activities provided by community partners, a butterfly release activity, and the Egg Hunt that will start promptly at 10am.

  • Riverton Bunny Hop: Families make their way around Riverton City Park visiting stations to get candy or prizes and to participate in fun Easter activities. At Riverton City Park. 10am.

  • Spring Scavenger Hunt: at the Kinlands.  Start by getting your map and instructions from The Shoppe and then set out on your adventure. 11am-4pm. Tickets are $10.

  • Wester: at Second Summit Hard Cider. Wester is our Cider Maker Brandon's favorite made up holiday that always takes place the day before Easter. We will have our Wester Market with some of our favorite local makers, releasing our Spring seasonal cider, live music and even an adult easter egg hunt! 11am.

  • Spanish Fork Festival of Colors 2024: There will be non-stop live music from great bands, yoga, mantras, dance, cuisine, and the throwing of colors! Tickets are $8.

  • Millcreek Doxie Derby: at Millcreek Commons. Wiener dog races! Starts at 3pm.

Sunday, March 31st:

  • Sunday Brunch film: at Brewvies. This week’s film will be Hot Fuzz. Doors open at 11:30am. Free!

  • 14th Annual Bunny Hop: in partnership with SLUG Magazine at T.F. Brewing this year. food trucks, craft beer, and tunes spun by local DJs on vinyl from 11am until sundown. $25 entrance.

  • Yoga & Sound Bath: at Red Butte Garden. 10:30am. $15.

  • Honkey Tonk Sundays: at RoHa Brewing. Time for some Hot Chicken, cold beer, and Honkey Tonk with High Ball Train. 3pm-6pm.

  • Adult Trivia: every Sunday night at the Green Pig Pub. 7pm-9:30pm.
