Sweeney Todd: Stephen Sondheim’s beloved dark classic is a thrilling musical that tells the tale of Sweeney Todd, a vengeful barber who returns to London after being wrongfully imprisoned for years. The Grand Theater at Grand Theatre at SLCC. Runs through October 28th. 7:30pm. Tickets are $30.
Dinos in the Dark: spooky-themed 8.5-acre outdoor sculpture park and indoor museums. At George S. Eccles Dinosaur Park in Ogden. Tickets are $10.
Halloween Express Train: Halloween Songs, Entertainment & Family Fun! Runs Thursday and Friday nights in October. Heber Valley Railroad. Tickets are $25.
Millcreek’s Food Truck Thursdays: winding down for the season with just a few weeks left. At Millcreek Commons from 5pm - 8pm.
Halloween Lift Rides: Just like the Full Moon Lift Ride, but a little spookier at Sundance Mountain Resort. 7pm -10pm. Cost is $30.
Sleepy Hollow the Musical: runs through October 30th. West Valley Performing Arts Center. Tickets are $25.
SZA Concert: SZA will bring the S.O.S Tour to Salt Lake City with special guest d4vd. At the Delta Center. Starts at 8pm. Tickets are $84.
The Addams Family: A New Musical Comedy: Runs multiple dates in October. Timpanogos Community Theater. Tickets are $15.
Friday, October 20th
UMOCA Halloween Bash: Tarantula Disco. Chat with the artists and gain a glimpse into their creative processes. Dance the night away to esoteric tunes. Utah Museum of Contemporary Art. 6pm–10pm. Tickets are a $25 suggested donation.
Halloween On The High Seas: Pirates and Scallywags starts and runs through October 30th. Halloween costumes are highly encouraged. Loveland Living Planet Aquarium, Sandy. 12pm - 6pm.
Open Streets SLC: Every Friday and Saturday this fall, downtown SLC’s Main Street will undergo a delightful transformation into a pedestrian promenade with music and art. 12pm onward. Free.
Frightmares at Lagoon: With over nine haunted attractions, Halloween-themed entertainment and all of your favorite foods, rides and games, Frightmares is Utah’s number one destination for family friendly Halloween fun. Runs until October 29th. Tickets are $95.
Young Frankenstein: From the creators of the record-breaking Broadway sensation, The Producers, comes this monster new musical comedy. Mel Brooks, adapts his legendarily funny film into a brilliant stage creation – Young Frankenstein! Runs through October. Ziegfeld in Ogden. Tickets are $26.
Spooky Wagon Rides: Ride with the Headless Horseman. Fridays, 7:30pm and 8pm. At Wheeler Farm, Murray. Tickets are only $5.
Wilco Concert: Tour to Infinity. Delta Hall at the Eccles. Starts at 7:30pm. Tickets start at $40.
Hozier Concert: Unreal Unearth Tour, featuring Madison Cuningham. At the Maverik Center. Starts at 8pm. Tickets are sold out but check for resellers.
The Rocky Horror Show: runs October 20-31. Pioneer Theatre Company. University of Utah, Salt Lake. Tickets are $55.

Strutt Your Mutt:an animal fundraising walk and festival to help homeless pets presented by Best Friends Animal Society of Utah. At Liberty Park from 10am– 2pm.
Utah Firefighter Chili Cook-Off: 11th Annual 2023. America First Field Pavilion in Sandy. 11am–3pm. Admission is free. Tickets sold for chili and beer.
Witches and Wizards Halloween Tea Party: Bewitching Brews, Spellbinding Treats, and Mystery. At the Gateway District. 11 am–1pm.
Utah Grizzlies Ice Hockey: Games on October 21-22, 2023 at 7pm and on Sunday 3pm at the Maverik Center. Season opener so tickets are $17.
Pumpkin Days: Enjoy a family friendly Halloween with a play zone, hay maze, cow train, corn pit, & wagon rides. 9 AM - 9 PM. Tickets prices range from $3-$12 based on age.
Bates Haunt Halloween Show: The award winning, longest running outdoor projection show in the world! Taylorsville. Show runs each night except Sundays from 7:30pm-10pm. Free.
