Frozen Fury NHL Preseason Hockey Game: LA Kings vs. San Jose Sharks. Delta Center, Downtown, Salt Lake. Starts at 7 pm. Tickets are $39.
Halloween Express Train: Halloween Songs, Entertainment & Family Fun! Runs Thursday and Friday nights in October. Heber Valley Railroad. Tickets are $25.
Park City Wine Festival: runs all weekend. Check out the link for events happening all weekend.
Millcreek’s Food Truck Thursdays: winding down for the season with just a few weeks left. At Millcreek Commons from 5pm - 8pm.
Sleepy Hollow the Musical: opens today and runs through October 30th. West Valley Performing Arts Center. Tickets are $25.
Friday, October 6th
Breakfast with a Witch: The Gathering Place transforms into the witch parade headquarters complete with interactive dances, games, autograph signing, photos and a buffet breakfast. Runs all October. 10:30am. At Gardner Village. Tickets $25.
Gluten Free Expo: All things Gluten Free in one place. Mountain America Expo Center. 10am - 5pm. Entrance is $10.
Halloween On The High Seas: Pirates and Scallywags starts and runs through October 30th. Halloween costumes are highly encouraged. Loveland Living Planet Aquarium, Sandy. 12pm - 6pm.
Open Streets SLC: Every Friday and Saturday this fall, downtown SLC’s Main Street will undergo a delightful transformation into a pedestrian promenade with music and art. 12pm onward. Free.
Frightmates starts at Lagoon: With over nine haunted attractions, Halloween-themed entertainment and all of your favorite foods, rides and games, Frightmares is Utah’s number one destination for family friendly Halloween fun. Runs until October 29th. Tickets are $95.
Young Frankenstein opens: From the creators of the record-breaking Broadway sensation, The Producers, comes this monster new musical comedy. The comedy genius, Mel Brooks, adapts his legendarily funny film into a brilliant stage creation – Young Frankenstein! Runs through October. Ziegfeld in Ogden. Tickets are $26.
Millcreek Harvest Market: come and enjoy fresh fall crops, packaged goods, food trucks, and harvest-themed arts and crafts all sold by local vendors to celebrate the bounty of the harvest season. Runs until November third Fridays from 4pm – 8pm at Millcreek Common.
Saturday, October 7th
Free Outdoor Yoga: The last one of the season at Solitude. 9am - 10am at the Apex Lawn.
Pumpkin Days at Wheeler Farm: Enjoy the maze, corn pit, duck races, pedal tractor, and more! Most days in October from 9am - 8pm. Entrance is $12.
Concrete Clash: $1500 in cash prizes, alongside tons of gear from Salt Lake's hottest board / skate shops for division winners. At the Vans Skatepark in the Utah Fair Grounds. 12pm - 6pm. Free.
Oktoberfest at Snowbird: Just a few weekends left. Featuring activities, live music, traditional Bavarian fare, over 50 varieties of beer and an array of local vendors.12pm - 6pm Saturday and Sunday. $12 per car.
Giant Pumpkinpalooza: The highlight will be gigantic pumpkins – some possibly over 1000 lbs – battling for the 2023 championship and the orange jacket. Zombie walk, kids and adult pumpkin pie eating contests, and more. At the Gateway from 12pm - 5pm. Free.
Photos with Beetlejuice: at the Valley Fair Mall. Every Saturday & Sunday in October from 2pm - 6pm.
Murder Mystery Dinner: Solve a hilarious mystery while you feast on a fantastic dinner. At the Hilton Salt Lake City Center from 6pm - 8pm. Tickets are $62.
Whiskey Street Ghost Walk: Stroll down Historic Whiskey Street and back in time. Learn about the ghosts who continue to dwell in these local haunts. 7pm and 9pm. Tickets are $25.
Real Salt Lake plays Kansas City: Game starts at 7:30pm at America First Field in Sandy. Tickets are $20.
Sunday, October 8th
Outdoor Urban Flea Market: The Urban Flea Market features 80+ vendors offering the best eclectic and unique vintage and antique finds. Local crafters will provide cool handcrafted and upcycled vintage items. At the Gateway. 10am - 4pm.
Harvest Festival at La Caille: celebrate the end of the wine harvesting season with live music, food, games, and more. 12pm - 5pm. Tickets are $58.
Broom Making w/Wendy: Experience the magic and enchantment of Cat and Cauldron; your premier destination for all things occult and metaphysical. Taylorsville. Class starts at 2pm.
BooLights: not-so-spooky friends, frights and lights. Enjoy the zoo after dark with themed light displays and animalized Halloween entertainment, activities, and scavenger hunt. Hogle Zoo. Starts after dark. Entrance is $25.
Taylor Tomlinson: Self-deprecating humor is on full display in Tomlinson’s second hour-long special, Look At You, recognized as the top comedy special of 2022 by Vulture, the Los Angeles Times and New York Times. At the Eccles Theater. Show starts at 7pm. Tickets start at $55.
